Check out this amazing video. It's a track entirely composed using iPhone apps and it's stunning.
I have my suspicions that some of the sounds may have been sampled and reworked in a more sophisticated DAW, especially some of the glitchy drum stuff at the end. However it was created, it shows what you can do with limited resources, dedication and imagination.

That track is great! I'm especially curious about that crisp bass coming from the robot app...any idea what it's called or, even better, how I can get the same fat synth bass sound from a logic software instrument??

Figured it out myself. The robot app is called Bebot and it's awesome. The looper thing is called Melodica.
